Keep Your Tires Inflated

Because of the temperature changes (warm in the day, cool at night), this can do a number on your tires. It can get to the point where you can lose a bit more air than normal. Depending on what your manual says, your tires should be anywhere from 32 to 37 PSI.

Check your tires regularly and inflate them when you need to. It also helps to get your tires rotated. If they need to be replaced, Pit Shop Garage will get the job done.

Our tires and other parts are backed by our three year, 36000 mile warranty that is good nationwide. If you’re running low on cash, don’t worry. We have our financing options available upon request.

Check Your Battery

The battery is one thing you don’t want to die. That’s because if it does, your car doesn’t start. Simple as that. That’s why you want to check to see if it has enough electrolytes (water and sulfuric acid) to keep running. If it’s running low, it needs to be replaced. Heat will evaporate the rest of it and the battery will fail.

While your battery is getting replaced, you can wait for the job to be done. In case you have places to go, we have our loaner vehicles available. If you need a free ride to and from the shop (be it to home or work), we’ll be glad to hook you up.

Get It Inspected Anyway

There is so much to go over to ensure your vehicle is running smoothly. Your vehicle should be inspected every year for any issues. That’s why you should bring it to a certified mechanic near Mundelein, IL that will check everything inside and out.

If they spot an issue, they’ll fix it on the same day. And they are fast about it. Before you know it, you’ll be back on the road and ready for your trip.
